She is a founding member of the Connected Communities practice at Intersection and served with IBM Global Business Services Public Sector Strategy & Innovation practice. Neysa began consulting after nearly fifteen years in transportation and urban planning at the Straphangers Campaign and Regional Plan Association working for government, private and philanthropic clients in the New York Metro Region where she designed and executed strategies and conducted research focused on improving the quality of public transportation services.

In her career as a community organizer, transportation advocate and strategy consultant, Neysa’s unique work combining management expertise with a campaign-style approach to implementation has resulted in improved efficiencies and better citizen and customer experiences, and raised billions for investment in public transit infrastructure and other services.

Neysa serves on the boards of many transportation and environmental non-profit organizations, including Transportation Alternatives, Tri-State Transportation Campaign, the New York Public Interest Research Group, Climate Action Now and the New York League of Conservation Voters - groups that are on the front lines of advancing an equitable and robust transportation future.  She recently served as co-chair of the Digital Advisory Committee for Regional Plan Association’s Fourth Regional Plan and has written extensively on the state of transportation investment. She is a recipient of Common Cause’s “Holding Power Accountable” award for her work protecting New York’s transit system from disinvestment and Tri-State Transportation Campaign’s Advocate Award for her role advancing innovative transportation funding mechanisms in New York State.  Neysa has a BS in Biology and Biochemistry from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan and an MBA in Corporate Finance and Strategy from New York University.
